Democratic Public Education Caucus of Florida Announces 2026 Endorsements for School Board Races

The Democratic Public Education Caucus of Florida (DPECF) is proud to announce its first statewide slate of endorsed candidates for local school board races across Florida.

Public education is the foundation of strong communities, a competitive economy, and a healthy democracy. At a time when school boards are increasingly asked to navigate political pressure while maintaining their focus on student success, the DPECF is proud to recognize candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to strengthening Florida's public schools.

"Our endorsements are about more than supporting individual campaigns," said Laura Tucker, President of the Democratic Public Education Caucus of Florida. "They are about building a statewide movement that champions strong public schools, respects the expertise of educators, and ensures every child has access to a high-quality public education. These candidates understand that public education is one of Florida's greatest investments, and we're proud to stand with them."

The DPECF endorsement recognizes candidates who share the caucus's commitment to protecting and strengthening public education through responsible governance, support for educators, fiscal accountability, and policies that help every public school succeed.
